FREE JRPM Activity Kits

To kick off your June of exploring local recreation programs and parks, collect your FREE activity kit from the Wasaga Beach Youth Centre / Seniors Active Living Centre at 1621 Mosley St. Activity kits are available for pick-up on June 1st, 2022 from 11 am - 8 pm.   The activity kit will guide you though various FREE active-living options provided for residents throughout the month of June.  The activity kits will include a free frisbee to try the local disc golf course at Pridham Park also a gardeners starter kit and a Wasaga Beach inflatable beach ball to enjoy some passive recreation time at the worlds longest fresh water beach. 

Interactive Scavenger Hunt

As part of June is Parks and Recreation month, we encourage you to join in on a fun and interactive scavenger hunt! Download the Goosechase app and enter the game code: 7ZWBJ7 to receive points for completing challenges! The participant with the most points at the end of the month will receive a prize from the Wasaga Beach Rec Department! Get active, stay fit and have fun, good luck!

ParticipACTION

During June is Parks and Recreation Month, the Wasaga Beach YMCA is conducting a ParticipACTION campaign to enroll Wasaga Beach in a chance to win up to $100,000 if we are amongst one of the most active participating communities.
