Geosands Inc. (4 Positions)
Wasaga Distribution lnc. (3 Positions)
Wasaga Resource Services lnc. (3 Positions)
Primary Obligations:
- Support the mission, vision, and values of the respective Board and participate in the company’s strategic goals and objectives;
- Attend Board of Directors meetings and be prepared for decision making by reviewing relevant materials prior to meetings;
- Involvement in Board Committees and applicable meetings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the following: Business, strategic planning, human resource and management, enterprise risk management, membership on boards of significant corporations, financial, legal, accounting and/or marketing;
- Industry knowledge, including experience in the Electricity Business, experience with regulators;
- Experience in corporate governance in a municipal shareholder environment, knowledge of public policy issues relating to the Corporation;
- Any additional skills or qualities as may be consistent with industry best practices or identified by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) as beneficial and/or set forth in any OEB guidelines on governance practices from time to time.
