Game On! Nik Antropov, Marty Turco and Ales Hemsky Join Roster for NHL Alumni Hockey Game in Wasaga Beach on February 10
Town announces full lineup of NHL superstars that will help kick off the Town’s Breaking the Ice Festival
Wasaga Beach – NHL superstars Nik Antropov, Marty Turco and Ales Hemsky are set to join a roster of 28 players that will take over Wasaga Beach’s new twin-pad arena on February 10, 2024. They will join hometown hero Jason Arnott and former NHLers, Shayne Corson, Scott Thornton, Bryan Muir, Mike Krushelnyski, Mark Fraser and others on the ice at the new Wasaga Stars Arena, located at 544 River Road West, to help kick off the Town’s 50th-anniversary celebrations and Breaking the Ice Festival.
Tickets for the NHL Alumni Hockey Game are still available but in high demand with more than 90 percent sold.
“The Town of Wasaga Beach is thrilled to welcome our hometown hero Jason Arnott along with this impressive roster of NHL superstars to Wasaga Beach, as part of our Breaking the Ice Festival,” said Mayor Brian Smith. “Wasaga Beach's new NHL-size, twin-pad arena and library is a world-class facility, and we look forward to hosting these world-class NHL players in our beautiful town, in our spectacular new arena.”
Players will be divided into two teams, Team Stars and Team Wasaga.
