Wasaga Beach – Prepare for a thrilling night of action on the ice as National Hockey League (NHL) and hometown superstar Jason Arnott takes to the ice in the most highly anticipated NHL Alumni Hockey Game of the season, at the new Wasaga Stars Arena, 544 River Road West in Wasaga Beach on February 10, 2024.
This star-studded event will feature the incredible talents of NHL stars, including Shayne Corson, Scott Thornton and many more coming together for one night as part of the Breaking the Ice Festival, a two-week lineup of events that will kick off the Town’s 50th-anniversary celebrations and mark the grand opening of its new NHL-size, twin-pad arena and library.
Tickets go on sale December 20, 2023 at 8am EST at 50YearsofSunshine.ca
“The Town of Wasaga Beach is thrilled to have our hometown hero Jason Arnott and other NHL superstars join us as part of our Breaking the Ice Festival,” said Mayor Brian Smith. “Our new NHL-size, twin-pad arena and library is a world-class facility, and we look forward to hosting world-class NHL players in our beautiful town, in our spectacular new arena.”
