Olympic Medalists Elizabeth Manley and Elvis Stojko to Perform in Wasaga Beach as part of Breaking the Ice Festival

Wasaga Beach – Canadian Olympic medalists Elizabeth Manley and Elvis Stojko are the latest Canadian icons to sign on to help celebrate the Town of Wasaga Beach's 50th anniversary and the grand opening of the Town’s new twin-pad arena and library.
The iconic figure skaters will take over one of the Town’s new NHL-size ice pads and perform a Valentine’s Day themed show called “Love is in the Air”. The show is being creatively directed by local Olympic figure skating hero, Elizabeth Manley, and presented in partnership with the Wasaga Beach Skating Club. It will star Elvis Stojko and include dynamic performances by a selection of local figure skating talent.
The spectacular skating show will take place on February 14 during the Family Day long weekend, as part of the Town’s Breaking the Ice Festival: A Celebration of Legends, Icons and 50 Years of Sunshine.
