Proclamation: Probus Month

October is Proclaimed Probus Month!

WHEREAS Probus is a local, national and international association of retired or semi-retired people who come together to meet others in similar circumstances, to make new friends, and to maintain and expand their interests; and

 WHEREAS the purpose of the Probus Club is to provide regular meetings, guest speakers, programs and activities for its members; and 

WHEREAS presently there are five active Probus Clubs in the Town of Wasaga Beach. 

WHEREAS Probus Clubs are strictly social clubs, that are non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit and non-charitable. 

THEREFORE, I, Mayor Brian Smith, on behalf of the Council, do hereby proclaim October 2024 as “Probus Month” in the Town of Wasaga Beach.
