Sponsorship agreement will help reduce the financial burden on residents for construction costs related to the new $60 million Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach Public Library
The Town of Wasaga Beach continues taking action to help reduce the financial burden on residents for construction costs related to the Town's new $60 million Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach Public Library.
Today, the Town announced that it has awarded exclusive naming rights for its two NHL-size ice rinks to Zancor Homes, a local and award-winning developer.
The agreement will see Zancor invest $400,000 to support the Town to finance the new Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach Public Library. In return, the Town is granting Zancor exclusive naming rights for 20 years, for the community and spectator rinks within the Town's new twin-pad arena and library facility.
Effective immediately, the official name of the Town’s spectator rink will be the Zancor Spectator Rink. The official name for the Town’s community rink will be the Zancor Community Rink.
Mayor Brian Smith and President of Zancor, Fabrizio Cortellucci made the agreement official this week during a tour of the new Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach Public Library.
